After in-depth audience research, content audits, information architecture development, user experience and visual design, one of the most loved entertainment brands re-launched with a new responsive digital proposition across EMEA. The website features a new homepage, video portal and landing pages for TV, movies, holidays, live events and competitions giving the flexibility to accommodate ever-changing consumer and business needs, and the versatility to showcase the widest range of offerings Disney can provide.
The aesthetic is clean and simple and offers an optimised, richer experience than before. The site’s user interface is minimal and free of ornament and embellishments designed with an aim of putting the focus directly on content and onward journeys. Nine multi-weight custom typefaces were developed in 30 languages for offline and online use that were highly legible and appealing to children, but also sophisticated enough for adults. Bespoke iconography was also designed with simplicity and clarity in mind to help communicate and categorise content types.
